Overview

You will work on-site in our lab handcrafting high-quality crown and bridge cases. With state-of-the-art equipment and instruments on site, you will have the best tools at your disposal. We are looking for someone that has experience trimming and finishing crown and bridge work, has strong "model room" skills and likes to work in a fast paced environment. 

You will work alongside the full lab technicians developing your craft and expertise to ensure patients receive quality and timely service.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricates quality fixed prosthetics. Experience in trimming and finishing preferred. 
  • Optimizes Laboratory production by organizing and prioritizing daily work.
  • Follows quality standards to reduce remakes and patient satisfaction issues.
  • Partners with the treating Doctors to ensure prosthetics exceed patient expectations; provides chair side support (where permissible and in accordance with applicable laws) when needed to address patient needs.
  • Partners with the treating Doctors and Office teams to meet delivery dates.
  • Follows budgetary guidelines to stock and maintain supply inventories and prepares Laboratory supply orders.
  • Performs general equipment maintenance and reports and follows-up on equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs with the Office Manager.
  • Follows housekeeping guidelines to maintain a neat and orderly Laboratory.
  • Complies with established health and safety regulations, including the use of required personal protective equipment and engineering controls.
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Zirconia Finishing and die trimming skills preferred
  • Education Level: High School or diploma or GED
  • Successfully complete the MFSD Bench Test
  • Strong "model room" skills
  • Positive attitude, team oriented, works well with others and in a team environment, problem solving skills, patient centered
